Faith Wampole, aged 72, is displaying an amazing display of strength after sustaining injuries in the horrific ordeal that occurred during an incident at the Bristol Health and Rehab Center in Pennsylvania. Although countless lives were altered in that encounter, Faith’s is one that has been transformed into one of hope.
Faith was actually inside the facility when things started to go terribly wrong. She had been sitting in the activity room enjoying some quiet time when the lights suddenly went out. Shortly after, the facility was rocked with a sudden and violent force.
“The lights went out, and then it went boom,” Faith remembered quietly. “The ceiling came down. It got all foggy.”
Instantly, the room was filled with darkness, dust, and confusion. Everyone was disoriented and terrified as the debris fell and the visibility went away. But among the confusion, Faith went through experience that nobody ought to be exposed to in their lifetime. Despite her severe injuries, she managed to survive because of her unyielding willpower and inner strength.

Faith stays in the hospital and struggles to live. She is very determined. The other doctors and medical staff also want Faith to live.
“I’m a fighter,” she said — simple words that now sum up her fight.
Who has remained by her side throughout this ordeal is her niece, Carol Reilly-Strickland. She is quoted as saying,
“The family is just overwhelmed with gratitude that she is here and is receiving the care she needs.”
“It’s a blessing to know she’s okay and is being taken care of,” Carol reflected. “She’s safe.”
The incident was described by first responders as a very tough rescue mission. They navigated through smoke, debris, and affected areas in search of residents who were trapped in the building. The swift response resulted in saving many lives in the midst of heartbreaking situations.
While the community is in mourning for the lost, it is hard not to notice the strength of Faith’s will to live. It is a reminder of hope in the midst of sorrow, of the strength of the will to live in the midst of horror.
