Despite the tendency of many to avert their gaze from homelessness, there are those, like Brazilian stylist Leandro Matas, who not only acknowledge the issue but actively strive to improve the lives of the homeless. Leandro dedicates at least three days a week to providing homeless individuals with much-needed makeovers, offering them a fresh start and a newfound sense of dignity. Although met with skepticism by some, many of Leandro’s clients are overjoyed with their transformed appearance, sharing their stories and needs on social media platforms.
