Romy Reiner, who is the youngest sister of the famed film director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, was allegedly unaware of the death of both parents when she initially arrived in their home in Los Angeles, according to a recent report.
The reason for his visit to the Brentwood family home on Sunday was that a massage therapist was unable to gain entry into the house and had called for assistance after several attempts. It was after this call that Romy decided to check on his parents. Romy is aged 27 years.
When she entered the house, she found her father. This devastating and overwhelming moment made her leave the house without knowing that her mother, Michele, was also dead in the house. Romy thought that only her father had died at that time.

It would take time before she would realize the full extent of this tragedy. A paramedic would inform her that both of her parents were deceased, as reported by a family insider with a personal knowledge of events surrounding this issue.
Later that evening, Romy’s brother, Nick Reiner, age 32, was also apprehended by the authorities near the University of Southern California. Nick did not accompany Romy at the Brentwood house when his sister first made the discovery earlier that day.
Prosecutors explained that the case is painful and very complicated, especially because it affects the same family. They also described Rob Reiner as a legendary director and added that he and Michele, his wife of over 35 years, would always be remembered with dignity as the investigation continues.
